John Trapp was born and raised in rural Michigan before spending a few years in Toledo OH. After extensive travel he then moved to Berkeley CA where he lived for 20 years, finally settling in Columbia MO. From environmental and anti-nuclear movement building in the late 80s and early 90s to helping to pass the first state wide medicinal cannabis law in the late 90s to working on implementation in the 00s to working with the local homeless population in the late 10s to becoming director of a homeless shelter in the early 20s to going back into self-employment in the mid 20s, he has had a varied career. He enjoys travel, camping, cooking, and anything that stimulates the thinking process.
